Bio:
Kal Poole is a professional actor and director in the Columbus, Ohio, area. He currently teaches voice and acting for OSU Marion and Clark State. Over the past 20 years he has worked for a wide array of regional theatres including: Actors Theatre, Idaho Shakespeare Festival, Rubicon Theatre Co, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, (and his favorite) Whistling in the Dark Theatre Co. where has been the education director and now serves as managing director. Kal has a passion for making sustainable theatre and hopes that Whistling in the Dark Theatre Co. will serve as a model for how to create high-quality, low-cost “green” theatre.

Bio:
Colleen Leonardi is a choreographer, editor, writer and project coordinator who specializes in creative and organizational endeavors. Currently, she works with the Bebe Miller Company , The Hodge Group, Edible Columbus, Yoga on High, and various independent artists and writers. Her passion and expertise resides in the realms of movement studies, literature and the politics and pleasures of local and sustainable foods. She has a BA from Bennington College, an MFA from The Ohio State University and is a certified Yoga instructor. She is based in Columbus.

Bio:
Laura Alexander makes material-driven work inspired by wonder. She currently works primarily in paper and etched glass. She shows in various galleries, mainly in the Columbus area. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Washington, Seattle. She works out of Junctionview Studios, where she is largely involved in the community. She is a member of the Ohio Art League, and serves on the programming committee. She also organizes art shows as Sweet and OH productions with Somer Mager.

Bio:
CoCo Loupe has a BFA from The University of Southern Mississippi & an MFA from The Ohio State University in Dance/Choreography. In the past 20 years she has been an American Dance Festival freak-a-zoid, and indie dance group dreamer, a pick-up performer, a dance community advocate and a university educator. Her work has been performed all over the place but not everywhere (Louisiana, Texas, New York, Ohio, Oregon to name a few). She lives in Columbus and likes it. She works on websites everyday and makes dances, teaches and promotes independent dance in Columbus whenever she gets the chance. She’s always online or so it seems. Christopher Marlowe Roche: Chris has performed in Washington DC at the Kennedy Center, Woolly Mammoth, Arena Stage, Studio and The Source Theatre, where he was nominated for a Helen Hayes Award for his role as Cecily in, The Importance of Being Earnest. He has worked in Philadelphia (Walnut Street, BRT, Freedom), Chicago (Timeline,ATC, Bailiwick), New York (NBC and MTV), London (Teatro Technis) and here in Columbus at CATCO in Ghost Light and The Pillowman. He is a founding member and artistic associate of for/word theatre company.

Helma Groot is a Dutch artist living in Columbus, Ohio. She makes two- and three-dimensional artwork, including large-scale mobiles. She graduated from the Columbus College of Art and Design in 1989, and studied furniture making in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Bio:
Pioneering a new generation of music dubbed “Art Funk” by some, saxophonist/composer Joe Graziosi has made a name for himself on both the local and national jazz scene. Graziosi draws inspiration from all sorts of influences: visual art, cinema, literature, Scandinavian folk music, funk, and bebop, just to name a few, to create and speak through his own musical voice. He is the leader and main composer for The Truth, a band that dives deep into the art of improvisation and communication.

Bio:
Maggie Page (dancer) is originally from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She attended the Alabama School of Fine Arts in Birmingham, studying under Sonia Arova, Thaddeus Davis, Heidi Khursandi, and Therese Laeger. She is a recent graduate of The Ohio State University, where she performed the works of Melanie Bales, Susan Hadley, Mark Morris, and Vaslav Nijinsky. She is currently working and performing in Columbus with local groups such as Kristina Isabelle Dance Company, HighJinks Productions, and bacKspace.

Bio:
Eric Rausch earned his BFA in ceramics from The Ohio State University in 2007. He was a resident artist at Watershed Center for the Ceramic arts and studied under Chris Gustin at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in Maine. Eric’s work is featured in galleries around central Ohio and is a founding member of ARTillery Ohio, a collaborative of emerging artists in Columbus. He is currently a gallery assistant at Hawk Galleries and Director of ARTillery Ohio.
